President – Shukri Salfiti

Shukri Salfiti is a prominent business leader known for his dynamic and diverse ventures in Jordan and the broader Middle Eastern region. As the owner of Jozina for Food Trade, Shukri has established a reputable company specializing in the B2B bakery, patisseries ingredients and premium Belgian chocolate. His entrepreneurial journey extends to acquiring international brands for the Jordanian market, notably bringing Ace Hardware to Jordan. Shukri's business acumen is also evident in the restaurant industry, where he owns and operates several establishments in Jordan and Dubai. His leadership roles and contributions span various esteemed organizations, reflecting his commitment to fostering business growth and international relations.

Shukri is the founder and president of the Jordan Belgian Friendship and Business Association (JBFA) since September 2019, strengthening business and cultural ties between Jordan and Belgium. Serving as a board members of the Jordan Restaurant Association (JRA) for the past eight years, and as vice president for the past five years, he has significantly contributed to the restaurant industry in Jordan. Additionally, he was an elected board director at the Orthodox Club in Amman, Jordan, supporting a club renowned for its leisure, social, sports, educational, and family activities. As a board member of the Christian Hope Fund (CHF), Shukri engages in social, humanitarian, and congregational work alongside seculars and clergy. His advisory role at the Ammon Applied University College of Hospitality and Tourism Education (AAUC) underscores his influence in hospitality and tourism management education and training.

Shukri has been honored with Belgium’s most prestigious decoration, the Order of the Crown / Officier de l’ordre de la Couronne, by The King of Belgium, King Phillipe, on May 8, 2018, for his extensive efforts in strengthening business and economic relations between Jordan and Belgium. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Sacramento State University in Sacramento, California, and earned an MBA in Marketing from Golden Gate University in San Francisco, California.

Vice President – Mrs. Shermine Dajani

A Jordanian business executive, founder and CEO of PanMed Group of companies, and a founding partner of Medgrid France. Ms. Dajani brings a global market perspective to PanMed Energy. Her strategic planning and business development credentials are backed by extensive experience in Europe, US and the Middle East, where she has provided consultancy services to multinational companies seeking entry to the region for two decades. Among these successful collaborations is with Tractebel Engineering / Engie and Fortescue.
Ms. Dajani is an active participant in international conferences as a speaker on environment, renewable energy and grid interconnection issues as well as women empowerment. At present Ms. Dajani serves on several boards including:

• Vice-President of Jordan Belgian Business and Friendship Association.
• President of The Jordanian Italian Forum for Cooperation

• Founding partner in Medgrid, an alliance of 21 leading European and South Mediterranean energy companies established within the framework of the solar plan of the Union of the Mediterranean to study the technical and economic feasibility of the Mediterranean Grid Interconnection Master Plan.

Ms. Dajani is a member of Jordan Strategy Forum, she has been elected among the top 100 best illustrious women in the world for 2021 by Stars Publication New York. Ms. Dajani was chosen by the Gibran Chair for Values and Peace at the University of Maryland among the leading Arab Women who have enriched and advanced their societies, overcoming barriers and exemplifying values of progress, peace and human rights for all.
Ms. Dajani is a recipient of the Légion d’honneur from the French Republic and she was awarded Officer of the ‘Order of the Crown’ from the His Majesty King Philippe of Belgium.

Secretary General – Mr. Dani Marji

Since embarking on my professional journey in 1999 at a private family business specializing in mechanical and air conditioning solutions, I initially ventured into administration, leveraging my bachelor's degree. However, driven by a fervent passion for sales, I transitioned into this domain, dedicating over 15 years to honing my skills across retail, wholesale, and project-based sales. Alongside my father and brothers, I actively pursued strategies to expand our family enterprise, spearheading the establishment of three branches in Jordan, with additional branches in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Iraq. On a personal note, I entered into matrimony in 2003, and together with my spouse, we are blessed with four children.

Treasurer: Mr. Ramzi Imseeh

Ramzi, one of the owners of Imseeh Jewelry, joined the family business in 1990. As a certified diamond grader, he brings extensive expertise in gem identification, color grading, and jewelry examination. With a strong academic background in Business Administration and Management, Ramzi seamlessly blends a jeweler’s precision with a business leader’s strategic vision. His practical solutions for managing retail and wholesale operations have set new standards within the industry. Ramzi’s innovative contributions and unwavering support have become cornerstones of Imseeh’s prestigious brand and mission. A dedicated family man, Ramzi is also the proud father of five children.

Board member – Mr. Sa'ed Karajah

Sa'ed Karajah, Founder & Managing Partner of Sa'ed Karajah & Partners, boasts over 30 years of legal experience. Under his guidance, the firm has become one of Jordan's premier law firms. He advises an array of local and international clients in areas including Corporate, Commercial, Entertainment, Telecommunication, and Non-Profit law. Appointed to the Royal Committee for Political Reform in 2021, he also serves on the Board of Trustees for the National Centre of Human Rights. Mr. Karajah has played a pivotal role in drafting key Jordanian legislation, including the Companies Law and Telecommunications Law.

Board Member – Mr. Ali Noor

Director of Kaylani Food Center in Amman, Jordan, and one of the board members of the JBFA. The company I represent are importing and distributing frozen, chilled and dry foods from around the world to the various hotels, restaurants, cafés, pastry & bakeries, supermarkets, catering and airline industry. We are proud and honoured to import from Belgium raw chocolate under the brand Callebaut, Fries from Lutosa, and butter from various sources.

Board Member – Mrs. Rabab Mango Malhas

Rabab Mango was born and raised in Amman, Jordan. Co-founder and Chief Designer of Barlant Jewellers, Mango studied fine jewellery making in Antwerp, Belgium, earning her in depth knowledge of diamonds and fine jewellery making. The first registered female jeweller in Jordan, pioneering the business in Jordan while encouraging and supporting Jordanian women in the process, Mango tapped and guided local talents. Under her guidance, Barlant Jewellers hired the first female into the jewellery workforce in sales and craftsmanship, earning her media recognition as the first leader of women in the Jordanian jewellery business. With CSR in mind, Barlant (under Mango) produced a world leading jewellery showcase in collaboration with a world-renowned tour operator in Italy; with shoots in Petra and Jerash in collaboration with Italian Haute Couture designers whose proceeds went to benefit the music conservatory under the patronage of The Queen Noor Foundation. Rabab continues to promote Jordan through her work in jewellery, shows and activities throughout the country, most recently in Azraq Nature Reserve and the Citadel. Subsequently awarded the shield of ART (Arab Radio & Television) twice, consecutively. Honoured by Her Majesty Queen Rania with The Shield of Tourism for her extensive contributions in putting Jordan on the global map, while also honouring and highlighting mothers of children with disabilities. The first female member in the region of The Federation of Diamonds and Precious Stones - Belgium. Becoming a brand ambassador for DNA (Diamonds and Antwerp) by Antwerp World Diamond Centre since 2018. Mango has been driven by her expert intuition in design; creating endless collections at Barlant whilst also customising pieces for her clients that have shattered ceilings and have adorned first ladies globally. Prior to her work in jewellery and design, Mango held key positions as a journalist and as editor-in-chief during challenging times in Jordans’ history in the late 1980’s and early 1990’s. She was a key player in the restoration of media relations between Jordan and Kuwait in the late 1980’s as Amman Chief of Head Office and Correspondent; was Chief Foreign Affairs Correspondent at Jordan Press Foundation - Al-Rai Newspaper. Rabab was the only voice to break the silence to convey the Jordanian stance on the Gulf crisis; as elaborated upon in the book of late PM Mudar Badran. Close to decision makers and think tanks in the heart of breaking events with tangible impact during the restoration of the parliamentary process; upon the restoration, Mango spoke and exclusively interviewed parliamentary candidates in Jordan and abroad. Rabab was the driving force behind the introduction of media briefings and training. Participating in esteemed conferences locally and internationally as a representative of the press, and later, on women in Jordan. With her expertise, Rabab set media plans for The Queen Noor Foundation and various outlets. With her vast experience and varied interests, Rabab is also a certified holistic healer; while still creating jewellery lines and an active member of her community, seeking to help and bring awareness to Jordan.
